Creamy Cajun Pasta

Creamy Cajun Pasta is a flavorful and satisfying dish that brings together a perfect blend of spice and creaminess. Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, stem and seeds removed, chopped
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, stem and seeds removed, chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 chicken breasts, cooked and sliced
  • 12-16 medium shrimp, uncooked and deveined, thawed
  • 2 andouille sausage links, precooked and sliced
  • 1 tbsp cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese (more for topping if desired)

Directions

  1. Boil water in medium pot and add linguine pasta. Cook for 9-10 minutes.
  2. While pasta is cooking, I cook the chicken in an air fryer set to 400 degrees for 11 minutes. You can also choose to use baked, grilled, or sautéed chicken.
  3. Heat large skillet on medium heat. Add olive oil and peppers and mushrooms. Cook for 6-7 minutes.
  4. Add shrimp and sausage to skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Add chicken to skillet.
  5. Add cajun seasoning and make sure all food is coated.
  6. Add heavy cream and parmesan cheese. Set heat to low-medium and continue mixing for a couple minutes.
  7. Top with more parmesan cheese if desired.
