Decorations
Hawaiian Leis
- Hand all your guests one of these fun Hawaiian leis when they arrive.
Beach Photo Backdrop
- Have fun taking pictures with this Beach backdrop.
Sunglasses
- These beach party sunglasses are too cute!
Food
Sugar Cookies
- I found the cutest ocean themed Cookie Cutter Set and looked up tutorials on how to make the cookies. I used this sugar cookie recipe from the Cupcake Artist and this icing recipe from Sally’s Baking Addiction.

Cupcakes
- Use any cupcake recipe with blue icing, teddy grahams, and lifesaver gummies.

Activities
Hula Hoop Beach Ball Toss
- Have the kids toss beach balls through the hula hoop (take home the ball as a party favor!) I found a set of 12 Beach Balls for a great price.

Pour Water on the Ocean Creatures
- Draw different things from the ocean using sidewalk chalk- then fill up a big bucket of water and give the kids little cups- yell out what they have to go find and pour their water on- you can do this all sorts of ways using shapes/numbers/letters too. I just got these little Chalk Holders and love them.
Egg Hunt in the Ocean
- My kids love egg hunts around Easter time- so I decided to put little Ocean Stickers on the eggs and have the kids go find them in the ‘ocean’ (aka our house).
Face Paint
- Let the kids choose from 2-3 designs. This is the Face Paint Kit we have and I love it.

Use these beach party ideas for kids and you’ll be sure to throw an amazing party. The kids will have a blast splashing around in the water, playing games, and eating delicious food. So what are you waiting for? Get planning!
