Chicken and Dumplings
Chicken and Dumplings is a comforting Southern dish that’s simple to make and full of rich flavor. Chicken and Dumplings
Ingredients
- 24oz chicken broth
- Annie’s Flat Dumplings (1/2 pack)
- 1 cup shredded chicken (from rotisserie chicken)
- 1/2 can cream of chicken soup
Directions
- Set out half the pack of Annie’s Flat dumplings to thaw for 5 minutes.
- Boil chicken broth in large pot.
- Place dumplings in boiling broth one by one. Turn heat down to low-medium and let dumplings simmer. Continue mixing so dumplings don’t stick together.
- When dumplings are close to tender, add in chicken.
- When dumplings are soft and cooked to perfection, add in cream of chicken soup. Continue to stir.
- Turn off heat and let sit for 4-5 minutes before serving.
