Baked Spaghetti Pie

Baked Spaghetti Pie
Ingredients
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/3 parmesan cheese
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup chopped onion (optional)
- 1 jar pasta sauce (I use Prego)
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Boil water in medium pot.
- Add spaghetti to boiling water and cook for 8-10 minutes.
- While spaghetti is cooking, heat a skillet on medium heat.
- Add ground beef to skillet and cook until browned.
- Drain spaghetti and put back in pot. Add butter, parmesan cheese, and eggs. Mix well.
- Add pasta sauce (and onion) to skillet and combine with beef.
- Put spaghetti mixture in baking dish and pat down (should have enough room for sauce mixture on top).
- Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti mixture.
- Spread sauce mixture over cottage cheese.
- Top with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 17 minutes. Switch oven to broil and bake for another 3 minutes.
