Steak Lettuce Wraps
These Steak Lettuce Wraps are a fresh and flavorful way to enjoy a low-carb meal. Juicy sirloin steak strips are marinated in Worcestershire sauce and olive oil, then seared to perfection with sliced red onions for a savory bite. Wrapped in crisp romaine lettuce leaves and topped with shredded mozzarella cheese, these wraps make a delicious and satisfying meal that’s both light and full of flavor.
Steak Lettuce Wraps
Ingredients
- 14-16oz sirloin steak strips
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1/3 red onion sliced
- 6 leaves romaine lettuce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
- Place steak strips in large ziploc baggie with Worcestershire sauce and refrigerate for one hour. If you don’t have time for this- just add the sauce when cooking the steak.
- Heat large skillet on medium heat. Add olive oil and steak strips. Cook steak on one side for 2-3 minutes. Flip and continue cooking 2-3 minutes.
- Add red onion to skillet and mix well with steak. Lower heat and cook another 2 minutes or until steak and onion are done.
- Separate steak and onion evenly among the 6 pieces of lettuce.
- Add shredded cheese to each lettuce wrap.
